For equipment equipped with hour meters, such as skid steers and telehandlers, rental time is based on engine hours. One rental day includes up to 8 operating hours, one week includes 40 hours, and four weeks include 160 hours. If the equipment is operated beyond the included hours, additional charges will be applied at the prorated daily/weekly/4 week rate.
Example: If the daily rental rate is $425, that rate is divided by 8 hours, making the hourly rate $53.12 per hour. If the equipment is used for 10 hours in one day, the additional 2 hours will be billed at $53.12 per hour, for an added charge of $106.24 on top of the daily rental rate.
